I was an artist in residence in Tokyo Japan. It was very important to my work, being in a city where I couldn't speak the language and knew nobody. My life in a microcosm. Tokyo is a city full of fractured lives. I created 7 series of work. 2 conceived there. Here is snippets from the work I had intended to create. 'Endless Summer'. I use multiple exposure to represent reflection. Me looking in and out, in a surreal space of being isolated in a busy city.
