Ian Strange’s work ‘Home’ at first seems like it might be his childhood home, yet it is unsettling, with a skull painted on the side, or ‘Landed’, the seemingly same cottage crashed into the ground, toppled on it’s side. We can’t enter them and we become aware that these houses were never there and ask ourselves, what is home? ‘‘all is well’ slowly dissipates into states of angst, into the DNA of our suburban dream.'
